Bridals :]

So They're Here!! And Amazing.
We went to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and took bridals/groomals last Monday and it was so much fun! My sweet sisters and momma came with us and I'm really glad they could come. They made silly faces behind the camera to keep my smile from turning into a fake one. Thanks Ryan for doing such a great job!

Isn't he SO handsome??

I love him :)

GQ pose much? I LOVE IT!

My cute sisters and I. I love you girls!

10 days...

So. It’s been a little while.
 Oops.
I’ll try and be better. But no promises.

Since Thanksgiving, we’ve done a lot of school and work. Not fun.
And then, things got fun again!

The Sunday after Thanksgiving, we celebrated my dad’s birthday. I bought him a tie.
Happy Birthday Dad!
My handsome father in his new birthday tie :)

Then, it got boring again for a minute.

But! This Sunday, we were able to go to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional with Cam’s family.
It was amazing!
I loved the music. It was so great to be able to listen to President Monson and his counselors and feel the Spirit :]
It was so great! I love knowing that our families are forever and that soon, Cam and I will begin our own family [in 10 days, to be exact]. I am beyond grateful to my Savior for making it possible for us to receive eternal life and become like our Heavenly Father. If you weren’t able to listen to or watch the broadcast, you definitely need to go look it up. It will change you.
Me and Cam at the Conference Center

Then, on Monday the 6th, Cam, me, my mom, and sisters all drove down to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for…

Bridals/Groomals!!

I’ll post them as soon as I get them back from Ryan, our amazing photographer, whom we love!

Ps. Cameron looked AMAZING in his tux. Holy moly. Yeah, I am marrying a stud. He is hot!!

Last night, we studied and wrapped Christmas presents. It was a ton of fun!
I love that part of Christmas. I used to ask my mom to let me wrap my siblings presents just because I like it so much.
Giving, isn’t it the best?

Well, I have nothing more to say for now.. so have a lovely week!
Love, Lindy and Cam

Oh Life...

It’s been a little while.. Life got a bit insane. We’re both beyond busy with school, work, wedding plans [2 bridal showers in 2 weeks!], and family stuff. We don’t get to see each other as much as we’d like but hopefully things will slow down here pretty soon. I hope.

Today, I just want to talk about Cameron. He was born January 30th, 1989. He was the cutest little baby I think I’ve ever seen! He grew up to love everything there is to know about cars. His dad taught him and because of that they have a very special relationship. I’m sure we’ll even continue to have “Car Saturday” after we get married. One of my favorite pictures of Cam when he was little is one where he has his red Little Tikes car out on the grass. He’s got a sponge in one hand and he’s washing it while his dad is washing the real car. Cameron graduated from Northridge High [my high school’s rivals.. haha] then went to Utah State for a semester before his mission. He served in the Argentina Mendoza mission. He likes to speak Spanish to me and it’s really sexy even though I have NO idea what he’s saying hahaha. After his mission, he returned to USU and decided to go into accounting. That’s when he stepped into my life and changed it forever :]

Recently, my family life has been flipped upside down. Again. You can go here [aforwardandafighter.blogspot.com] to read all about it. But this time around, I have Cameron. I am beyond grateful for everything he’s done for me. He’s been my rock lately. I’ve been able to come home and he’s all ready to hug me and make the bad things not so bad. He’s made dinner when I just can’t focus enough to even figure out what we have in the cupboards. He’s wiped away my tears and held me while I cried. He knows what to say and when to say it. He knows when to just be quiet and listen. And it has all made me love him even more than I did before.

Cameron, thank you.
I love you!

Love, Me

Ps. 40 more days then I'll be your wife!

Walking Among the Pumpkins!!!

Last night, we went to the Pumpkin Walk up here in Logan and it was so much fun! Everything is free and you just get to walk around and see all the really cool things people do with pumpkins! Some people are so incredibly creative, it amazes me! The theme this year was animation so there were tons of scenes from Disney movies, cartoons from when we were kids and all kinds of fun stuff. It was awesome!
Cam's favorite pumpkin during the whole thing. Go Aggies!
Me, in front of the Toy Story scene :)

Charlie Brown! [Isn't Cam so handsome!?]

Thank you, stranger girl, for taking our picture!

Mom, this one is for you! Don't those penguins from Madagascar  look so real?

Homecoming and a True Aggie :)

Last night, my dear sweet Cameron took me to the Utah State Homecoming Dance!

We got all spiffed up in our finest.

I wore an old dress that I wore to my junior prom many moons ago. [Yep! It still fits! Holla!]
And Cam wore one of his dashingly handsome suits with a light blue dress shirt. He looked pretty darn good! ;)

He made me dinner [steak, it’s his specialty and I love it!] His roommate, Ben, took our picture and then we headed up to party the night away! It was so much fun! The dance was awesome. They had a live band playing classic good tunes to dance to and it was awesome. They also had a fancy little room set up where they’d have people mix you any flavor of lemonade you wanted! I had raspberry and Cam had strawberry. So good!

I guess I should back up and tell you that earlier yesterday, Cam took my ring to get it cleaned so it’d be all sparkly and cleaned up for me. When he picked me up I asked if he’d gotten it back and he said no.. that it was still in Dave’s office [our ring man]. I was bummed! I really wanted to wear it tonight and show it off. So instead, I wore the band we bought in Yellowstone and dealt with it….
Well, at approximately 11:55 pm, we headed up to the “A” so Cam could make me a True Aggie.. [just FYI, you have to be kissed by a True Aggie to become one… Yep, he was a little wild before we met and kissed many girls once upon a time… I still tease him about it some days haha]

As Cam and I were standing in line waiting for our turn, he turned to me and said “I’m nervous!” and I was so confused as to why he’d be nervous. We’ve kissed before… It’s not like it’s something new and terrifying… Then he told me that when I got up there, to hesitate and I was like why? And he just said “you’ll see…” So I get up on top of the “A”, turn to kiss him and the next thing I know, he’s down on one knee, holding my real ring out, asking me to marry him! Again! The whole crowd screamed [I maybe did a little too.. I was just so surprised!] and it was so hilarious! As we got down off the “A”, a ton of people yelled out congratulations to us and a few girls asked to see my ring! Haha 90% of everyone there thought it was a legitimate proposal, all of our friends knew it was one big joke [we’ve been engaged for 2 and a half months!], and I had no idea he had this planned out! Haha so stinking funny! I loved it :)

The pictures are kinda blurry, but you get the point!  Our favorite part of the pictures (other than how good we look, of course) is the reaction of the girls to Cam's "proposal" and my "answer!"

I love this boy! :) and I can’t wait to become his wife in 56 days!

Ps. Thanks Ben for coming up to capture pictures of Cam’s little surprise!

61 More Days...

Today, Cameron and I got the best of news!
After months of searching, we finally found an apartment! Cameron will move-in in a few weeks and we’ll finally have somewhere to put all of our stuff! My dad bought us a washer and dryer, his parents gave us their old dining set, my aunt gave us her old living room furniture…
People have been so good to us! I’m very thankful for everyone’s generosity towards us poor college students.
Thank you!!

Engagements!

Cam and I took Our Engagements last week and I think they turned out great! Thanks, Ryan! [if any of you out there are getting married or need family pictures taken or pictures for any occasion, Ryan is your guy! He’s awesome!]

Other adventures of ours..

Last night, we went to dinner at Chili’s [we’re almost regulars there. Haha we’ve been twice.] and it was quite delicious! My childhood friend, Nikki, works there so it’s always good to see her when we go. Good food, good company. You should go too. Well, when we left, we put my leftovers in the bed of the truck so they’d cool off. [Logan winters… Here we come!] We went inside and watched a movie and forgot about the leftover Chicken Crispers and mashed potatoes… oops… The movie ended and Cam took me home. We were standing in the driveway when I remembered about the food. Cam went to take it out of the back of the truck, paused, then looked at me said “Uh, Lindy…. I think a critter got into your food…” I looked at the to-go box and sure enough, there was a huge bite mark-shaped chunk taken out of the back of the Styrofoam and the front had been scratched open.
Inside, all the chicken was gone! The potatoes were still there though, untouched! Haha whatever it was doesn’t like veggies…

AND...
I got my wisdom teeth taken out last week!!! Talk about an experience… The first day I was completely numb and just drooled for hours afterwards. [Note: I am an exaggerator sometimes.. Just be aware ha ha.] I ate blended up peaches and a small chocolate milk shake. That was all. The next day was better. But after that, it just hurt and I didn’t like eating because it’s hard not being able to eat good solid food! I just wanted normal food and I whined all the time. Mom, I’m really sorry I was such a baby. You are a saint for putting up with me and taking care of me.. Cam, thank you for coming to sit with me while I complained about not being able to eat good food or when my mouth hurt and I couldn’t take anymore drugs. In case you were worried, I’m fine now. The dentist says they’re healing nicely. :] Good thing I never have to do that again!
(I was just a little cranky, so Cam was too chicken to ask to take a picture of my swollen cheeks. Sorry!)

AND...
Cam washed the truck!!
We love that truck!!
(Too bad we can only afford to take my car anywhere!!!)

AND... Last but still very exciting....
Cam and I both got raises! Woot! Woot! Maybe we won’t starve!  We also found an apartment so keep your fingers crossed that we get it!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

This one time, we went on a picnic. {yes, another one!}

My family came up a couple Sundays ago and spent the night at the Marriott on Main Street. We went out for pizza and then went swimming! My cousin, Avery, loved it! It was so much fun! We're kind of silly :]

don't mind us having an intense conversation in the background..
just look at the cute redhead in the front k?
The next day, Dad and Hillary came to church with me. Then after church we went on a picnic to Tony Grove. One of the best places ever :) Go there. Its amazing!

Dad, Cameron, Me, Hillary, Landon, and Madey.

My really cool sister, Madey. I love her sooo much!
This weekend, we get to go visit them in my home town of Layton and I can't wait!
